The San’in region, approximately 500 km west of Tokyo, faces the Sea of Japan.
It consists of Shimane Prefecture, which stretches far from east to west, and Tottori Prefecture. The region has its own unique culture, a history which began in ancient times, and untouched nature.
It is also known as the land loved by Lafcadio Hearn, the Greek-Irish writer who wrote Kwaidan. The San’in Good Thing explorers travel around the area, unearth hidden gems which are only known to the locals, and make known to all what they find.
